Readdle Turns 5, Celebrates with 70 Percent Off Apps for 48 Hours

One of the first developers to hit the App Store running when it was launched back in 2008, the folks at Readdle are celebrating their fifth anniversary this week by slashing prices on all of their iOS productivity apps.

Readdle has announced its fifth anniversary on Wednesday, and that could mean some big savings for you. The creators of productivity apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad such as Readdle Docs, PDF Expert and Scanner Pro are celebrating and have invited you to join them with savings of 70 percent off eight of their key apps.

Since launching in the summer of 2007 with web apps for the original iPhone, the Ukrainian-based Readdle has expanded to a team of 30, with offices based in both Europe and the United States. The company touts 5.5 million users worldwide, and there are sure to be many more thanks to its current sale.

"We would like to thank every single person who supported us during these long five years," the company posted on their website. "Our team values your trust and time, we'll do our best to create the best software. Meanwhile, grab the best we have for a special price."

Speaking of which, the 70 percent off deals are only valid for the next 48 hours so you'll want to act fast. Deals include PDF Expert for iPad for only $4.99, universal apps Scanner Pro, Calendars, Printer Pro, PDF Converter or Shakespeare Pro for a mere $1.99 and either ReaddleDocs for iPhone/iPod touch or Remarks for iPad for only 99 cents.

Or better yet, why not grab them all?
