- Alert) Exchange mailboxes, allowing MSP partners to much less complexly manage and maintain Outlook .pst files for email storage and archiving.

With this offering in place, partners can see a much greater level of control and flexibility over e-mail messaging data.

"We are constantly striving to make our suite of services the industry's most efficient and effective platform for MSPs to squeeze the highest margins out of their services," said Matt Baldwin, CTO at VAR Dynamics.

Also this week, Zarafa inked a partnership with Yubico to integrate YubiKey security into its email hosting offering. This strategic alliance was made in hopes of driving server level security for customers while gaining a competitive edge against Microsoft Exchange. Powered by an open source software suite, this product can be seamlessly integrated with common open source components and can successfully run on various platforms including Linux, Red Hat, SUSE Linux Enterprise, Debian and Ubuntu (News - Alert).

“The YubiKey is a cheap hardware authentication token that looks like a small USB memory stick,” according to a statement by company officials. “By touching the integrated button, the YubiKey sends a time-variant, secure login code as if it was typed in from a keyboard. The unique passcode is verified by a YubiKey compliant Web service or software application.”

Lastly, Microsoft revealed that it just made it much easier for users to view information via Outlook. In fact, the revamped version of the offering coined Outlook 13 will come complete with a hybrid cached mode. Touted as the first real change to Outlook since 2003, this added capability will help IT managers see exactly what’s going on in every area of their infrastructure.

Moreover, it will make it much less complex to switch from the online to local access loading.

iOS 101: Deleting Email From Your Device

Our iPhones and iPads are ubiquitous devices that come with us wherever we go, but because of this they can also get clouded up with data that we might not actually need. Take email for example: sometimes you just want to wipe your phone clean of all that superfluous data and face the day with a fresh, clean slate. Fortunately you can do so in just a few steps.

Delete messages one at a time

There are two ways that you can delete just one message at a time. First, if you are in Inbox view, you can swipe using one finger on the message from left to right. A small Delete button will appear to the right of the message. Tapping on this button will remove the message from your device.

How to Create Email Signatures with Pictures and Links

by Cory Bohon 3Comments

Taking your email signatures from blah to bling is a simple way to set your messages apart from others, and it can be especially important if you need branded emails for your business. If you’ve ever seen one of those fancy email signatures that have Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking links, then you know what we’re talking about. Try as you might, but you won’t find any option in OS X’s Mail app to create image and link-based signatures. Fortunately, you don’t need any special software to pull this trick off. Continue reading to learn how it’s done.

Typically, your email signature in OS X Mail might look like something below. A little bland, isn’t it? We wanted our signature to be comprised of three main sections: name and title, titles and links to our websites, and then icons and links to our social networks Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and AIM.

Take Advantage of Email Hosting Solution Microsoft Exchange with New Service from 360Sync

- Alert) Sync can be simply enabled. Also, you not only get Exchange, but if you want a bundle offer that includes SharePoint and Lync, that is a possibility as well.

Microsoft SharePoint is an effective tool for email hosting, sharing and collaborating. It helps businesses to set up websites to share information within the entire organization, manage documents from start to finish, and publish reports to help each and every member of the team make better decisions.

In a press release, Jessica from 360Sync said, "360Sync Office 365 brings our users what they want without the cost once associated with deploying Exchange for their company. It's all included—premium protection, features and mobility."

In related industry news, TMCnet recently reported that eight additional Italian companies and public agencies have recently adopted Microsoft Office 365, powerful software that powers an email hosting solution among many other things.
