TMCNet Asterisk Week in Review

Kerio Technologies was the subject of the next report, which detailed the launch of Kerio Operator 2.0. The new version of Kerio Operator represented the most advanced version of its business phone system yet, using VoIP to make calling simpler, and also bringing in a variety of advanced features along with it. Better yet, it comes available as either a software appliance for custom hardware, or as one of two different hardware appliance configurations.

Finally came reports that TelOnline's (News - Alert) newest customer solution had emerged, and brought together not only Asterisk, but also SIP trunking and CRM. Their first target for such an impressive combining of technologies was the mattress manufacturer Colchones El Dorado, and the early word suggested that the mattress maker was extremely happy with the package. Colchones El Dorado was satisfied as well with the package's ability to improve customer contact and collaboration across department lines.

TMCnet Asterisk Week in Review

- Alert) for both voice and data, announced this week that it has been included in the annual Branham300 ranking of leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies, headquartered in Canada.

When Vancouver’s Central Park Business Center needed to upgrade telecom products and services, it researched various options and selected Core Telecom Innovations Inc., a provider of open-source, Asterisk-based telephony products and consulting services. Central Park provides office space complete with telephone answering and administrative services. When selecting something to implement a P-Series PBX, it wanted to be more competitive than other business centers, Core Telecom explained in a recent statement. It also wanted to increase its revenue.
