Knights of the Round Cable Review

by Brian Albert 0Comments

As with App Store classic Tiny Wings, Knights of the Round Cable utilizes a simple tap-and-hold approach to chase high scores and complete objectives; and despite the breezy setup, the gem-collecting affair proves to be a demanding and engaging experience.

Spun off from last year's Rotastic on Xbox 360, the bite-sized app finds your knight plunging headlong into a dangerous castle containing an arrangement of anchor points. Tap the right side of your device and a cable will extend to the nearest peg, tethering your hero as he spins around and around. Tap the left side and your knight's momentum reverses, and between the two acts, you'll launch from anchor to anchor, collecting jewels, rescuing caged damsels, and avoiding dragons, ghosts, and other baddies. Hit too many enemies and back to the first castle you go.
