Fragasso said that this added certification is another great achievement for the company. NET and Telstra are now able to collaboratively respond to a customer's SIP Connect requirements with a secure, reliable and flexible enterprise grade solution made possible by the capabilities of the UX Series and Telstra's Next IP SIP Connect service.
According to company officials, the UX Series' is a vendor-neutral device that can serve as an enhanced media gateway, a Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) and an E-SBC, concurrently. This, company officials said, gives customers a flexible and powerful platform that can deliver the interoperability features that are commonly required in an enterprise environment.
It also allows customers to rapidly and confidently adopt leading collaborative communications systems such as Microsoft Lync, as well as powerful emerging IP-based carrier services, such as Telstra's Next IP network.
The UX Series, in an E-SBC role, provides high-performance VoIP communications for enterprise deployments with Telstra SIP Connect services, with capacity support ranging from five to 600 simultaneous calls.
