Philadelphia UC Service Center Ceases Operation but Claimants Can Continue Using Online, Phone Services
The Department of Labor & Industry cited declining Unemployment Compensation claims and reduced federal funding as the reasons for its decision to cease the operations of its Philadelphia Unemployment Compensation (UC) Service Center. But that doesn't mean claimants will be affected in any way, as they can continue using the online and phone services because their claims and questions are slated to be handled by employees at the state's other centers or online.
