J.C. Penney to Close One of Three Call Centers in Cost Savings Move
American retailing giant J.C. Penney continues to streamline its operations and reduce expenses, and news services are reporting today that the latest manifestation of this effort includes an announcement the company plans to lay off 600 employees from its corporate headquarters.
