Hulu has announced "a new Hulu" -- as in "a fresh new look for the shows you love," featuring "larger, more vivid artwork" focusing on the previous night's new TV episodes as well as new additions to the service.
"As we worked on the new layout for the site, we kept two things in the backs of our minds: How can we make it easier for you to find and enjoy the best TV moments on your computer? And how can we surround those moments with the most beautiful, elegant and innovative video experience on the web?" Hulu VP of product Rob Wong queried on the company's blog.
Judging from the sneak peek at new.hulu.com, they've certainly succeeded, with a prominent section for "Shows You Watch" when users are logged in, a "Staff Picks" collection for better discovery, more prominent browsing and an updated Search bar.
Hulu is also making it easier for viewers to pick up where they left off, focusing on the next episode if you happen to be in the middle of a series, or pointing viewers toward the first episode of a new show you've added.
The main Hulu.com website will be rolling out the new look and feel automatically over the next few days, but if you're anxious to ditch the old look, just head over to new.hulu.com and experience it today.
