The addition of HIS technology into Dialog Semiconductor's systems will help improve security against a variety of potential problems like counterfeiting and cloning, and in an era of increasing use of mobile payments, cloud storage and the like, security is more important than ever. The HIS technology will allow for improved anti-virus protection by way of a digital fingerprint that in turn provides a message authentication tag (News - Alert) for bootloaders.

Kolmisoft stepped in with the next bit of news, offering their new MOR 12 software, an improved version of VoIP Class 4/5 Softswitch. The improved MOR 12 provides more options over earlier VoIP switches, and gives businesses a better billing platform as well as a more advanced softswitch. With an SIP Proxy server in play, the MOR 12 can allow for serving up to 10,000 calls simultaneously. It's scalable, allowing for further improvements as needed, and is said to be a very reliable product in the market.

Next, Telcentris (News - Alert) stepped in with news that its white label VoIP program was going to be changing in terms of its structure and pricing. It offered three separate pricing plans previously, but now, the white label VoIP program will come in just one package, but with metered options and bundling options to allow for more services to be offered in the confines of the single service. Some of the new services include a redesigned end-user portal, a redesigned administrator portal, and more call control functions. Better still; the new pricing structure requires less in start-up fees by 50 percent or more over previous versions, allowing new users to get in for less cost.

Lastly, we brought you a how-to guide for getting that new IP-PBX system installed and in play. Such an installation offers some serious potential benefits for the buyer, including increased system functions and better efficiencies delivered at a cost savings over current phone systems.
