Available in a managed services model, the service provides the benefits of a first class, Least Cost Routing (LCR) solution with the added advantages of a hosted service. The company’s Managed VoIP Peering (News - Alert) (MVP) service is an interconnection solution, which facilitates global telecommunication carriers to rapidly and easily exchange VoIP or TDM traffic via a public or private partner, over a VoIP platform.
“We’re very excited to bring Enhanced Routing to the market because inefficient routing can be costly for carriers,” said Dan Dooley, President of TNS’ Telecommunications Services Division. “TNS integrates a least cost routing engine with additional intelligent routing services such as Enhanced 8XX, Local Number Portability and Carrier ENUM, giving carriers access to improved routing and direct peering with a single query.”
TNS’ Enhanced Routing not only helps carriers to reduce long distance costs, but handles calls based on more important criteria, such as quality of service or bilateral agreements.
