TMCnet Unified Communications Software Week in Review

This week, SimpleSignal released new unified communications software to offer customers a wider range of integrated applications and calling features.

The new ‘One Number’ offering helps businesses take advantage of mobile PBX (News - Alert) technology to meet their business needs and offers call transfer, hunt groups, call centers, conferencing, call recording and 4-digit dialing between extensions as well as a call swap feature to easily transition from a mobile to desk phone with having to put someone on hold.

Killingsworth Environmental also announced this week it has made use of MegaMeeting.com's online video conferencing solution to help make their daily business communications more eco-friendly.

Now, in-house office meetings that were held once a week at a central location are conducted using videoconferencing to reduce costs and help save the environment.

“We hold weekly company-wide meetings,” said Melissa Chaney, office manager at Killingsworth Environmental. “With nine branch offices located all across North and South Carolina it was hard for our company to come together for meetings, until we found MegaMeeting.com.”
